About me

I was born on November 24, 1986, in Eisleben, Germany. As the daughter of a choir singer and a photographer, I was practically born with a talent for and enthusiasm for all kinds of art.

My talent for visual arts was discovered and nurtured at school. My interest in the Middle Ages, its mysticism and magic, particularly influenced my early work. Besides various design projects and my first commissioned paintings, I also showed musical talent: For two years, I directed my own choir and later a musical group.

My fascination with the perfect interplay of mind and body is also reflected in other hobbies such as horseback riding, LARP (Live Action Role Play), yoga, and travel.

In 2006, I began developing my own unique style of painting, which also explores this interplay. As a creative tool, I discovered and explored new possibilities when thermoplastics became increasingly popular and were no longer used exclusively in cosplay. As a result, thermoplastics have become one of my favorite and most frequently used materials. With Worbla, the possibilities are virtually limitless.
